Adele in Munich
Adele in Munich
In August 2024, Adele took the stage in Munich for an exclusive concert series. Over 10 shows in 30 days, 80,000 fans per show were treated to a unique experience. This massive project is a stunning example of how design, functionality, and creativity come together.
ADELE ARENA
Adele captivated the crowd in a stunning custom stadium called 'Adele Arena,' designed by Florian Wieder at Wieder Design. Unbranded was responsible for the entrance gates. ADELE’s name, prominently displayed on the enormous 120-meter gate, was impossible to miss. The grand design ensured it was hard to ignore. As you entered the area, you were greeted by a massive, tightly stretched gate featuring large ADELE letters. These letters were precision-cut using a CNC machine at the Unbranded workshop.
As you walked towards the Adele Arena, you saw five stadium portals installed between the stands at a height of 18 meters. Each portal featured a simple flap system for easy maintenance and a smooth finish for a flawless appearance.
ADELE WORLD
The site around the stadium was transformed into 'Adele World,' a themed outdoor area where fans could immerse themselves from the afternoon until late into the night. Unbranded played a pivotal role in bringing ‘Adele World’ to life, creating breathtaking and functional decor elements that enhanced the overall experience.
A standout feature of Adele World was the two stunning 'I Drink Wine' bars, each adorned with floral decorations. The smaller bar had 4 service points, while the impressive 360-degree bar featured 10 service points and offered 70 meters of bar space. The atmosphere was further enhanced by 1,650 types of plants and flowers. Fun fact: 35 luxurious golden poles were installed, each secured with 300 kg of ballast.
At the stadium entrance stood two mirrored A’s, perfect for a photo op! These 5-meter-high A’s, made from a custom-welded steel frame and mirrored dibond, were created at our workspace in Hilversum and transported to Munich by flatbed truck. Each A was secured in place with 900 kg of ballast.
The Farmer Market featured 3 beautifully designed drink bars, with stone columns and sides, lit by handmade copper lamps. 750 liters of paint and 5 km of wooden bar fronts were used to create a stunning look. Visitors could also enjoy 7 food & beverage markets, with 110 sun awnings and wooden decking, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Thanks to Live Nation Entertainment, Leutgeb Entertainment GmbH, and Wieder Design for this wonderful opportunity.
