The 62nd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest took place in Kyiv, Ukraine this year. The right to host the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest came after Jamala won the 2016 edition in Stockholm with her song 1944. 42 countries participated in the contest and we had the honour to design and create this year's unique decor.
Theme
This year's theme was Building Bridges, which was clearly reflected in the decor. The dynamic, structured pipes served as the basis for affinity and connection. In addition, it radiated the vision: diversity supported by mutual respect between cultures, countries, and people.
