On November 10, 2024, the MTV Europe Music Awards took place in Manchester. The newly opened Co-op Live Arena, the largest indoor entertainment venue in the UK with a capacity of 23,500 guests, hosted the 30th edition of this global event. Broadcast across more than 150 countries via MTV, the evening united artists and fans from around the world.

The stage design for this edition was crafted by Nathan Paul Taylor, a designer specializing in live events. Drawing inspiration from Manchester's rich industrial heritage, Taylor created a set featuring bold, rugged elements with a distinct character. The design incorporated 15-meter-high scenographic columns, detailed with approximately 4,500 wooden rivets. These features were strategically arranged to align with the event’s overarching theme.

Unbranded has been handling this for the MTV Europe Music Awards for the past 10 years. Commissioned by Viacom International Media Networks, they successfully brought this ambitious project to life.

The stage design for the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards seamlessly combined industrial aesthetics with practical functionality. Its versatile setup and thematic coherence created an engaging environment that resonated with both performers and the audience.
